Just got back up north from a awesome road trip with Scott Heale, Dan Bond, Anna and myself.

I started in Wanaka and hitched to Christchurch with a bit of a headache from the night before and met up with Scotty; we stayed a night there and headed straight to Temple Basin near Arthurs pass. Stoked to arrive with 20cm of fresh underfoot. The next day we awoke to 20 more! and it continued to give us another 10 that night. Then it was comp day! 40cm of fresh plus. We had an amazing day and I came out with 3rd at the Temple BlackDiamond free ride comp.

Next on to Mt Ruapehu for the Extremes. We had met Dan and Anna up Temple and they were keen to get onboard the road trip north. We set off. Laughs were had and some Exports were sunk. We did it in one night ! (Thanks Scotty) heaps of fun. I was defending Champ at the Extremes but the day didnt go my way and after 2 years of Top I placed 2nd. Amazing week.
